Dinner for those who can't cook

Dinner for those who can't cook

Now you can. And Gourmet to boot.

Take a heavy casserole dish (Dutch Oven). Add a small splash of olive oil.

Now start throwing things in. Your favorite vegetables. A couple of chicken thights with most of the skin trimmed off. Maybe some sliced potato.

Add fresh ground pepper, a pinch of salt, a pinch of paprika, some chicken stock, some white wine and some water.

Then add a tablespoon of mustard, a splash of honey, some grated lemon peel, some grated parmesan cheese and a can of canellini beans. If you don't have any of these then forget them. No big deal. Next time you'll be more prepared.

Chop a complete bulb of garlic and throw that in. Yes, a complete bulb, not a clove.

Put the lid on the casserole and bake at 350F untill cooked. About 90 mins, maybe longer. Stir occasionally.

Tech Notes:
As with all cooking the quality of the ingredients makes a big difference. Buy the best quality you can afford.
