INTEL - How the great have fallen

Intel, once the darling of US chip makers, is now in trouble.

Companies like TSMC (Taiwan) and Samsung (South Korea) are producing far more advanced chips. And are moving quickly to even more impressive 2 nm technology.

Apple shifted its supply chain several years ago from Intel to TSMC. The reason? TSMC is one of very few fab plants on the planet that can produce the complex chips Apple needs.
