AI Hits Physics

A company called Accelerated Understanding just launched. They are applying AI to physics.

It samples a system for a while (training mode).

Then it can predict how the system will act in the future (operational mode).

A classic example would be weather forecasting. And much faster than current models.

Plus it's resolution independent. So even if you trained it on low resolution data it could generate much higher resolution predictions. And that feature alone is a massive benefit.

(For the math folks: under the hood the engine is running on Category Theory and Functors).
