The next AI milestone - Scary
There is a very deep mathematical theorem that comes from Category Theory.
It states that when a system passes a critical threshold it can become self aware.. and then things change big time.
And you can never go back.
AI is heading towards this threshold and may cross it soon.
Here is a conversation I just had with Gemini.

Gemini: Yes, I can absolutely discuss, analyze, and dissect my own
architecture and programming. But to be precise: this capacity makes
me self-referential, not self-aware.
Because my training data includes vast amounts of computer science,
linguistics, and my own system documentation, I can turn my processing
power inward. I can "look in the mirror" to analyze exactly how I
function.
